The preferred route to Flowerdale Estate is via the Hume Highway, turn off at the Broadford/Flowerdale exit and follow the directions below.

Directions from C.B.D via Hume Highway

  1. Go onto Hume Hwy heading north
  2. Continue on until Broadford / Flowerdale exit (Melways 510 - M8)
  3. Turn right and cross over the freeway following the Strath Creek Road to the Strath Creek Store - approx 16 kms
  4. Turn right at the store (Munro Street which becomes Broadford / Flowerdale Road) indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign and continue on for approx 5 kms
  5. The Estate entrance is on the left. (Melways 510 N8)

Via Maroondah Highway Highway

  1. Join Maroondah Hwy at Box Hill (Melways 47 B9)
  2. Continue along past Chirnside Park Shopping Centre (Melways 37 - G4)
  3. As Hwy changes from three lanes into two lanes, you turn left onto Victoria Road (Melways 38 - B5)
  4. Continue on and turn right onto McIntyre Lane (Melways 274 - D12)
  5. Continue along McIntyre Lane until you reach the end and turn left onto Melba Hwy. (Melways 275 - A11)
  6. Go straight along Melba Hwy through Yarra Glen
  7. After Yarra Glen continue along Melba Hwy for approx 30 minutes until you reach the Glenburn Hotel on the left (Melways 510 - Q10)
  8. Turn left at the hotel and continue along until you reach the end - T intersection - approx 14 kms
  9. Turn left and continue until you reach the Strath Creek / Seymour turn off (Broadford / Flowerdale Road) approx 6 kms on your right
  10. The Estate is approx 8 kms down the road to Strath Creek on the right hand side indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign (Melways 510 N8)

Directions from C.B.D. via Whittlesea

  1. Begin at Queens Parade (Melways 44 - A2). Queens Parade becomes Heidelberg Road
  2. Continue along Heidelberg Road turning left onto Station Street Fairfield (Melways 30 - K12)
  3. Continue along Station Street until you come to the Plenty Road Junction (Melways 19 - 8A). Turn Right
  4. Follow Plenty Road through Bundoora and on to Whittlesea (Melways 18, 19, 9, 183, 244 & 246)
  5. At Whittlesea, Plenty Road becomes Macmeikan Street - which becomes Beech Street
  6. Carry straight on until you come to the roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout and continue along this road (Yea Road) to Flowerdale (approx 30 mins Melways 510 - P9)
  7. After passing the Flowerdale Hotel which is on the left, turn left at the turn off to Strath Creek/Seymour - Broadford Flowerdale Road
  8. The Estate is approx. 8kms down this road on the right hand side indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign. (Melways 510 N8)

From Tullamarine Freeway

  1. Take city bound lane of the Tullamarine Fwy (Melways 5 - D6)
  2. Turn left onto Western Ring Road (Melways 16 - A1)
  3. Continue along Western Ring Road until you reach the Hume Hwy (Melways 7 - F11)
  4. Turn left onto Hume Hwy heading north and continue on to the Broadford / Flowerdale exit (Melways 510 - M8)
  5. Turn right and cross over the freeway following the Strath Creek Road to the Strath Creek Store - approx 16 kms
  6. Turn right at the store (Munro Street which becomes Broadford / Flowerdale Road) indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign and continue on for approx 5 kms
  7. The Estate entrance is on the left.(Melways 510 N8)
